We took a while to get going tonight. END played very well and made 10 threes today. It seemed like everything they threw up went in for them. We finally got something going in the second half and played a much better third and fourth quarters. We are moving forward and learning a lot every game. We are a work in progress and have already improved significantly. 

JV Basketball:

The 7th grade girls basketball started the season with a win over Groton by a score of 20 to 9. Olivia Shieve and Mia Hisey each scored 6 points to lead the Lady Lions. Dana Oltz and Makenzie Weaver both had 4 points, including a huge 3 pointer from Makenzie!

On the 8th grade side, the Lady Lions also came away victorious by a score of 37 to 20. Jasmine Root paced the team with 9 points and incredible hustle on defense. Katie Perrine, Ally Josey and Kaylee Hastings all scored 8 points apiece with a basket apiece by Ashlynn Traphagen and Natalie Simpson. 

Great job, ladies!

The 8th grade girls basketball team finished off the season on a high note with a 33 to 8 victory over Union Springs last night. Sindi Pinckney led all scorers with 10 points, followed by Lauren Gulini with 8 points, Tori Bryan netting 6 points with Lauralye Caskey and Abby Spano each scoring a basket. The shot of the night, however, was provided by Hollace Finver, with a majestic 3 pointer in the 1st Quarter that brought the house down! Great game, ladies, and congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade Lady Lions for a terrific season!
