It was recently announced that several Dryden photography students will have their work shown in exhibitions set to take place this May.
Thirty-three photography students had their work selected for a Rural/Urban Exhibition, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 from 4-6PM at the Syracuse Warehouse Gallery. This exhibition was curated by LaFayette Big Picture High School student Keegan Hemlock.
Additionally, 10 students had their work selected for the 2019 Ithaca Festival Pop-Up Exhibit. Their photographs will be on display at the Community Arts Partnership ArtSpace. A special reception will be held during the Ithaca Festival on Friday, May 31 from 5-8PM.
"They put a lot of hard work into these photographs and it shows. Having their work selected for these exhibitions is quite the accomplishment. They're very excited to be sharing their work with these communities. I'm incredibly proud of them," said Bobette Butts, Dryden Arts Specialist.
