APPR Disclosure


In accordance with §3012-d of NYS Education Law, regarding the Annual Professional
Performance Reviews (APPR) of teachers and principals, Dryden Central School District is
obligated to release the individual final ratings (Highly Effective, Effective, Developing,
Ineffective) of teachers and principals. Parents/legal guardians may request such information for
the principal of the school building and teachers to which the student is assigned for the current
school year. Only final data will be disclosed.

Parents/legal guardians wishing to obtain such data must make a written request to the
superintendent. An appointment will be scheduled for the parent/legal guardian to meet with the
superintendent (see time table below). At this meeting, the identity of the parent/legal guardian
will be verified (government issued photo identification is required) and the Superintendent will
communicate the data verbally. Only meetings with individual parents/legal guardians will be
scheduled. The law forbids public release of this information by the District beyond these
individual parent/legal guardian disclosures.
