DCSD Update: All schools in the Dryden Central School District will dismiss on time today despite the Regents Exams schedule being altered. The 3:00 Shuttle Bus will be available to those students who are taking a Regents Exam and have not finished at the time of MS/HS Dismissal Time. In addition, this exam schedule change will have no impact on PK-5 dismissal. Students in grades PK-5 will dismiss at the normal time as well. Please take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Always...#LionPride!

DES Green Team Rummage Sale 2026 - June 6 8:30-11:30am

Good Afternoon,
This is just a reminder about the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. Friday, May 22, 2026 and Tuesday, May 26, 2026 are regular in person normal school days/contractual days for all students and staff.

Monday, May 25, 2026, all schools and offices in the DCSD will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, a Federal Holiday.

Memorial Day always has a special meaning to me as I remember those who I fought and served beside who are no longer here because of the sacrifices they made in service to their fellow countrymen.

So, I always ask that before we dive into our Toyota-thons, Adjustable Mattress and Lazy-boy Furniture sales and get carried away by the ants at the picnic on the beach that we will all take a moment of reflection on Monday, May 25, 2026 to celebrate those whose memories we honor on this important day.

Please take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Always...#LionPride!

Community members are invited to attend the Dryden Town Historical Society's Annual Meeting on Thursday May 14 at 7pm.

The meeting will start at 7pm, followed by a presentation by board member Amy Dickinson, who will share the story of her great-grandfather Dr. Homer Genung’s carriage, which spent the last century in a barn in Freeville and emerged last year to be part of an exhibit at the Tompkins County History Center. Videos and photos tell the story of “Dr. Genung’s Final House Call.”

This is also the Annual Meeting where the DTHS will vote on new board members.

Doors open at 6:30. The Village Hall is accessible, and there is plenty of free parking in the bank parking lot across the street.
