The tornado warning is canceled at this time and has been downgraded to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a tornado watch persisting through the afternoon. At this time, all schools in the Dryden Central School District are resuming their normal schedule, but all students will remain indoors. The District will continue to monitor the weather closely as we move through the afternoon. This will be our last communication regarding this specific warning. Students who have a scheduled 12:00 Regent should still report at 12:30 PM. Please take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Always....#LionPride!

Good Afternoon,
This is just a reminder about the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. Friday, May 22, 2026 and Tuesday, May 26, 2026 are regular in person normal school days/contractual days for all students and staff.
Monday, May 25, 2026, all schools and offices in the DCSD will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, a Federal Holiday.
Memorial Day always has a special meaning to me as I remember those who I fought and served beside who are no longer here because of the sacrifices they made in service to their fellow countrymen.
So, I always ask that before we dive into our Toyota-thons, Adjustable Mattress and Lazy-boy Furniture sales and get carried away by the ants at the picnic on the beach that we will all take a moment of reflection on Monday, May 25, 2026 to celebrate those whose memories we honor on this important day.
Please take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Always...#LionPride!
