Dryden Central School District Residents
SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES NEEDED

The Dryden Central School District is seeking district residents who are
interested in serving on the Board of Education. There are three seats up for
election. Three seats are three-year terms from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029.

The election is May 19, 2026.

 

Candidates must be able to read and write; must be a qualified voter of the
district; that is, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age; must
be and have been a resident of the district for a continuous and uninterrupted
period of at least one year; may not have been removed from any school
district office within the preceding year; may not reside with another
member of the same school board as a member of the same family; may not
be a current employee of the school board; may not simultaneously hold
another incompatible public office.

Candidate petitions with 25 signatures are due in the District Clerk’s office
by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026.
