I am very excited to be teaching you this year. I am also very happy that you have decided to continue studying Spanish. Learning a second language will help you in many ways. It will not only help you in your academic career but will also give you an edge in your professional career.
For it to be a productive and successful year, you need to be prepared for each and every class. You need to come to class on time with all needed materials which include your textbook, workbook, paper, handouts, and homework. You will also need a writing utensil. Don’t rely on others – bring your own materials. Be responsible!
In order to have a successful year you will need to practice, practice, and practice some more! One way to practice is by doing your homework which will be given daily. You also need to spend at least 10 -15 minutes a day studying vocabulary. It is essential that you study!
In order to have a healthy learning environment all students need to be considerate of others. Remember – respect yourself, respect others, respect property, and be responsible!
I will be available for extra help after school in my room.
