As many of you know, I frequently take photos of our class in action.I know many of you like seeing your children and what they are up to in our classroom and in school. For my own personal photographic services, I use Snapfish.com. It is an online service which provides storage, sharing, and developing of photographs and videos. I have been very pleased with the service (and I am VERY picky.) Recently, they have developed a new service for special groups. I have started a special group for our classroom. This allows me to post all of the photographs that I have taken and allows others to post photos that relate to the group as well. For instance, if you joined us for our Nature Hike to the Dryden Bike Trail and took digital photographs that day, you could post those pictures for all of us to see. Once the photos are in “albums” on the group site, you are then able to view them or purchase them if you desire. It is much easier for me and allows me to share all of the photos I take with you instead of a select few, due to space limitations on our website. As the creator of the group room, I am able to remove any album, message, or guest if I desire. We will also have a password which keeps the traffic on the website to the people we invite. You will be able to invite grandparents and friends living far away if you desire. Due to the convenience and time saving value of this service, I will be posting class pictures to this site from now on instead of on this website.
