VSP 5(03) Jerry Goodenough on Developing Our Energy Policy
On November 30, 2011, Jerry Goodenough from AES Cayuga came to the Conversations With a Scientist program at Dryden High School. The topic of his presentation was 'energy- how to meet the needs of society while being economically and environmentally responsible, what should our energy policy be?' Just before the presentation, Mr. Andrew Dutcher, earth science teacher Mr. Travis Crocker, and physics teacher Mr. Mike Mangini had a chance to talk with him about his presentation.

On Tuesday, April 26th, 2011, Inish O'Doherty, a PhD chemistry candidate from Cornell University, did a presentation entitled "Immoral worms and plant defenses: How can chemists help understand and solve biology problems?' as part of the Conversations with Scientists program. 4(07) Jamie Kalousdian on Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurship, and Developing
Small Businesses
On Thursday, March 31st, 2011, Jamie Kalousdian, the Manager of Media
Production of eClips, an online collection of video clip interviews or
presentations about entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship, visited with Mrs.
Bruno's business class to talk about eClips, entrepreneurship, and developing
a small business. Afterwards, Mr. Andrew Dutcher Mrs. Bruno talked with
hem in the library media center about working with the business students
and his experiences with eClips. eClips is a product of Cornell University's
Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
