Understanding the NYS Property Tax Cap
There is a great deal of confusion over what the new tax cap legislation means to municipalities including school districts. Capital BOCES and Questar III's State Aid Planning and Communication Services have created a six-page brochure that provides an overview of the law and attempts to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions.
