Dryden native jumps at opportunity to fix crooked smiles
But former Dryden resident Joey Motsay, now of Greensboro, N.C., was all smiles during his recent attempt -- which was successful, pending paperwork for the Guinness Book of World Records -- to set a world record for consecutive hours jumping rope. During the ordeal, he kept imagining the smiles of the 150 children who would be helped with the money he raised through donations during his record-setting effort to benefit Smile Train, the largest cleft lip and cleft palate repair charity in the world.

Spring Sports Awards, 2008
Awards winners- 08.doc
Coach Steve Starr remembered:
Steve Starr, Elementary teacher/coach, who died unexpectedly in Jan. '95 was instrumental in developing an interest at Dryden in the area of Strength Training. He was the driving force behind the use of the old bus garage stall as a facility that our athletes could get bigger, faster and stronger.
In 2003 that "stall" was given back to the Maintenance/Grounds Dept. and the new Fitness Center was born. In honor of Coach Starr's dedication, the framed tshirt he use to wear has been permanently placed in our new facility at the H.S..
**Thank you Coach Starr**
